This race was critical in terms of confidence. After the DNF in RAAM I needed to prove to myself that I belonged in the world of endurance racing. I had used the time wisely to conduct a meticulous autopsy on my RAAM experience and I was beginning to understand where my performance gaps were. I was learning.
